Inverting cheap a set of $50 plus middle-high-school microscopes to do tasks usually achieved only by using very expensive molecular microscopes that usually cost many thousands to many hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Who would have thought of assembling a set of such grade school microscopes, with a little help from clever software programmers, to achieve such a nifty thing?
Notice the young PhD student said his "invention" SHOULD BE AN OPEN SOURCE, for all poor students and young researchers to share.... not to be an exclusive idea that benefits just one person like he himself..... (I truth, it's more like an idea rather than a true invention of original fabrication, although I suspect original and CHEAP microscope, using this IDEA, will be developed soon by entrepreneurial individuals)...
Clever, uplifting young researcher; the world needs more of his type...
