first, a brilliant little idea.... now, something I obviously never went through, since I went through an alternate reality during college, so I never did participated in these childish little boy and little girl frat lives...

So, obviously, I never saw, or heard about, or knew any of the men who rape women and the women that were raped, when they attended these mindless drinking, pot smoking, and mindless party parties...

But, yes, I do shed tears, when I read the nightmares these stupid young women had to go through, when they attend these stupid, drug-laced, mindless parties and are raped or, as in this case, gang-raped. But knowing that the men who raped these young women never got punished because many of them came from very well connected families... that makes my blood boils!

Humans never cease to amaze me at their stupidity and violent proclivity AND THE ABILITY to rationalize away such stupidity and violence... by BOTH victims and perpetrators alike... with the *help* of middle men or support groups, of course...

As a guy, I have never been able to understand women in general but young women who're just starting college.... why do they have this need to go out with strange men or men they HARDLY know... like this 18-year-old woman at the SAME UNIVERSITY discussed here, who was last seen with a big, old guy who has a history of sexual assaults on OTHER WOMEN... a young woman whose body, of course, was found a week or two ago, after 50 days of being missing...

This WILL LIKELY SOUND politically incorrect, as you never blame the victims... and yet I NEVER UNDERSTAND why women DO NOT take care of themselves better, why they don't make better decisions, when we ALL KNOW something like 8 out of ten victims WILL TURN OUT TO BE WOMEN, either with men and they know OR men they hardly know or with COMPLETE STRANGERS!

If you notice: this young woman, of this LONG ARTICLE in Rolling Stone, which got the ball rolling in the University of Virginia suspending all its "Greek" party houses... her father was a Vietnam Vet and he's been very firm about her NOT GOING TO PARTIES, to drink... and SHE TOOK UPON HERSELF TO DISMISS AND DISOBEY AND DISREGARD his warnings and concerns... by GOING TO PARTY with some guy she hardly knew, who, then, got a whole bunch of his frat brothers to gang-raped her...

So tragic, and yet women never seem to want to take responsibility for their behaviors; OR AT THE VERY LEAST, make decisions that would MINIMIZE the chances of finding themselves in HELPLESS SITUATIONS, as described here... they always SEEM to wait for things to happen AND THEN CRY ABOUT IT; and yet, as the LONG RS ARTICLE says, daily and nightly, you have stupidly drunken young men and women going in and out of these frat houses, looking "for fun" like their lives depended on these mindless pursuits...

But I have no tolerance for the MEN who do these things AGAINST THE WILL and WISHES of others, be they men or women. I think anyone caught raping, proven, should face the REAL POSSIBILITY of castration... or something close to it...
