Here is a translation of this basic thoughts in writing in sense of humor. I personally do not translate or interpret the language because I am not that good, truly because I am not in that environment to whom translate regularly. But I know some Laotians which are much better than me and therefore they are very good.
Even though I am not that good, but at least I have tried to interpret (some) into the meaning of thoughts in American English grammars, basic -- the meaning which is close to heart. I hope once read would bring about interest in thoughts.

I Am Your Only Father Who Loves You
“ພໍ່ຮັກລູກຄົນດຽວ”

ຄວາມຫວັງຂອງພໍ່່ນັ້ນ ມີຢູ່ເຫືຼອຫຼາຍ ບໍ່ນ້ອຍ
As a father of you, my hope for you is a lot, not at all little.
ຢາກເຫັນລູກໄດ້ດີ ໃຫ່ຍພໍສະເມີດ້ານ
I want to see you done well and be a well-rounded person, not a slope.
ຫ້າກວ່າລູກເປັນດ້າມ ພ່ໍຈະເປັນຄົມມີ້ດ
Like, if we are a knife, you are the knife’s handle, I will be the blade…
ຈະຊ່ອຍຂີດຕັດຕ້ານ ໃຫ້ຄົມຢ້ານເລົ່າບໍ່ດີ ແທ້ແລ້ວ.
Together, you and I will sharply help each other draw, cut, and block any scary space. (means no good entities).

ອີກຖ້າພໍ່ມີລົດຕັດຫຍ້າ ພໍ່ຈະພາລູກນັ່ງຕັກ
Same as if I have a tool like a lawnmower, I will let you sit on my lap.
ສອງເຮົາຈະສະໝັບ ຕັດຫຍ້າໃຫ້ລອນກ້ຽງ
Together you and I fit perfectly, cut grass until nicely done.
ເຮົາຈະເປັນສອງເຕົ້າ ຄູ່ກັນພໍ່ແລະລູກ
We will be two existing together-shapes that join us as father and child.
ຊິວິດທີ່ສ້າງໄວ້ ເຮົານັ້ນໄດ້ຮ່ວມກັນ ຈິ່ງແລ້ວ.
Life which has already taking place (create/exist), we are meant to be forever together.

ອີກນຶ່ງ ພໍ່ຈະພາບໍ່ຢ້ານ ກົວເກັງເລົ່ານ້ອຍໃຫ່ຍ
Another word, I as a father, will help you not-to-be-afraid those the small and large entities.
ລູກນ້ອຍທີ່ພໍ່ອູ້ມ ຫວັງໃຫ່ຍໃຫ້ພໍ່ຊົມ ແທ້ແລ້ວ.
A child who I am a father and I hold, I have hope to see you grow-well for joy of seeing greatness.
ສິ່ງທີ່ພໍ່ບໍ່ປາດທະນາຄື ຢ້ານລູກເປັນແຫຼງຫຼອ້ຍ
Things that I most wish not to see, I fear that you might turn enslave (a lower class follower),
ໃຫ້ເລົ່າພວກດ້ອຍ ທາດຮ້າຍເດຍລະສານ
To lower class followers, the means and ugliness of mankind who are sin.

ເປັນມານອຳປີ ຜູ່ທໍຣະພີແຜນດິນຮ່ວມໂລກ
Who would become a bad demon, and the traitor of our land and our corporate world.
ຫ່ວງລູກບໍ່ດີພຽບພ້ອມ ມີໝູ່ຄູ່ພະຍັກ (ຄົນບໍ່ດີ)
I have high hope, however, to see you corporate goods, like having good and corporative friends.
ຢ້ານລູກຕົນບໍ່ຮູ້ ດ້ວຍທຳດີຫ້າກຜິດພາດ
I want you to have the ability to perform goods even though there would be some mistake.
ບໍ່ປາດຖນາລຽງລູກເປັນດ້ອຍ ຫັ້ນຫ້າວຊາວອື່ນໃກ ເປັນຫ່ວງເດ.
I have a high wish of you not to become enslave by others, which means be strong for those are not among us. I am much worry!

ຄຳຄືນພໍ່ພາເຈົ້າ ກິນເຂົ້າແລ້ວພາຮຽນໝັງສື
That’s why, when night comes, we eat together and I help you educate goods.
ກາງເວັນພາຂີ່ກົງລໍ້ ຕັດຫຍ້າໃຫ້ມ່ວນຊື່ນ
At day time, I would help you get on tricycle, we do things for fun like cutting grass.
ທຸກມື້ພໍ່ແລະລູກນອ້ຍ ບໍ່ໄດ້ດອ້ຍສິ່ງດີທຳ
Every day, I, as a father, and you as a small child, will not lack of good things to do.
ພໍ່ຫ້າກມີດີພາເຮັດ ທຳຄວາມພຽງຢູ່ຕະລອດ
I as your father, will always help you build and endure goods as long as exist.

ບໍ່ວ່າໄປວັດໄປໂບກ ມີປະໂຫຍດພໍ່ພາທຳ ແທ້ແລ້ວ.
Whether I am attending temple or church, with good reason I, your father, will guide you always.
ແຕ່ຄວາມກັງວົງພໍ່ນັ້ນ ເປັນຫ່ວງລູກນ້ອຍເຫຼຶອຫຼາຍ
In my most circular thoughts (trouble thoughts = WORRIES), I care about you, very much.
ພໍ່ຢາກເຫັນລູກຕົນ ຕົກຄົນເທົ່າເລົ່າຜູ່ດີ
I worry because I want to be sure my child would be equal and be with good people.
ພໍ່ຢາກເຫັນລູກຕົນ ເປັນຄົນພີດີດັດ
I want to see you, my child, become one of the good Samaritans.

ເປັນເຊື້ອກທີ່ດີມັດ ຮ່ວມປະດິດແປງສ້າງ
It is like having a great grip rope to corporate goods to fix and to help build.
ພໍ່ຢາກຝາກຫວັງລູກ ລູກມີກໍ່ຫວັງໃຫ່ຍ
I have a high hope in you that a child I have, is to do well (grown-well).
ຫວັງເຫັນລູກໃຫ່ຍກ້າ ເປັນປະຊາແທ້ຂອງຕະກຸນ ລູກເຮີຍ.
I hope to see you grow and brave, become the real people to our raise.
ໃຫ້ລູກຈຳຈື່ໄວ້ ຄຳພໍ່ສິດສອນ ລູກເຮີຍ.
Do remember the good words that I reasonably have taught you.

ຢາມໃດພໍ່ກໍ່ມີບຸນຄົນ ຊອ່ຍເຫຼືອລ້ຽງດູຫວັງໃຫ່ຍ
Consistently, I am a good deed creator and always given, who help raise you to do well.
ເມື່ອໃດເຈົ້າໃຫ່ຍກ້າ ຈະຮູ້ດອກຜູ່ຮັກຕົນ
When you have grown and truly brave, you will know who love you most.
ໃຫ້ເຈົ້າຈົ່ງຟັງຝ້າວ ເຮັດດີລະໂທດໃນຍຸດໃໝ່
In the new world, you must listen well, perform good acts, and avoid bad act.
ໃຫ້ເປັນໄສຂອງແນວໜ້າ ຮ່ວມກ້າບັນປະຊົນ ລູກເຮີຍ.
Become the lead of corporative good and the braves among the people, my child.
