Dear all,

This message is to post to let know that I do not have Laotian fonts to type in Lao language. It is due to the reason WINDOW for Laotian language does not provide DVD for buying or usage at this time. The company to whom provide from Tavulesoft Company or Keyman online do not have even a proper address for contact. The individual only have Postal Office Bos (POB) which is not a business contact to do anything. I send the money and it was rejected without cashing. It is a sad thing to do and to say, however, that is how that goes. So as for writing only one line translated in English to best know-how is:

1. It is real or not, it does not matter, however it matters when the involved or the intended person would take it (whether that taking it or intended of good deed or not, it is depended upon that person react to the Sampun (feeling of receiving or acting upon).

2. For one who needs a home or a place to stay, under a bridge can be a place if the heart wants it to be.

The translation may be off track since it is sound quit funny to when read it in English. But I think it would be good enough to explain and express the point of view in writing one line that would be meaningful.

OXOXOXOX

Eveyone else does not seem to have problem using Lao fonts, especially Saysettha OT and Phetsarath OT.

Dear ***@Yahoo.com:
Thanks for letting know as soon as you said so, I was able to get something to work. I got Saysettha Unicode able to read and type. I also got offered Dochampa Lao fonts, however, I can not read Laotian cursive that well so I like Saysettha best. Nevertheless, I don't know how I did it. But I did. The fonts are now back to work for me. Magic....I wonder how...Heheheh!!

Hi Sulilec,
Saysettha OT might not work in some web brownser, I don't remember. Phetsarath OT is better, it seems to work fine with all that use Unicode font.

Windows 7 and up come ready with Lao Unicode fonts...that's why it works for you, I guess.

Dear ***@Yahoo.com,

How are you?

Today the radio made the announcement that it's Microsoft Birthday. Happy birthday to you! I did not know that Microsoft was invented in 1985. I was not even here in U.S.A.

Well anyway, I got a lot of O and T fonts. And a lot of Laotian fonts collecting over time. But so far so good, I like Saysettha and Alice fonts best. The Saysettha guy he has a character his statue got a hat on his head, so I do not know that he is hairless or not, but at least he cares about his look. As for Phetsarath, he took professional picture without a hat or cover up his baldness. I guess he is OK guy, my point is I do not have Phesarath font. I got lot of Laotian fonts as said, so far I got no problem reading Laotian on Bailane Website and other sites like YOu Tube and Lao News, VOA for example. As said, I am using Microsoft as it states so here on this box it's a Window 8.01 for a try. So far it's OK box, but it seems to have it's own brain. You like the computer think on it's own? I mean, it keeps on doing different display and graphics...I don't know how to explain, but so far so good...

I do not know about others, WWW.GOOGLE.COM is a paid account for me. I like Google professionalism. They remain truthful and sincere about their product. So I paid once a year to Mountainview in California. How about you?

Have a great day...

Hi Sulilec,

Windows 7 and up come handy with Lao Unicode font. So, you don't need to be worry about using the Lao font in any browser anymore. Since I am still using Windows XP on my desktop I have to do the work myself to load the Unicode fonts into my comp system and to have the Lao font work in some browser.

Have a great day!

To ***@Yahoo.com,
I have not overlook your reply. I just got a chance to answer now.

I can see that the up-to-date computer of Window 8.01 may already got Laotian fonts and other O and T fonts install, which include with other type of languages as well.

Can you explain why the computer I am using seems to shut down around at 9:00 A.M. Look, I am not a kid who would go to bed at 9:00 p.m. website and everything shut down, you know? Hahahah!!

If you are not going to answer I can understand I will contact Window Helps directly. The thing is, I do not know why I will get replied.

Hmmm!! How come no one answer the post of curiosity whether Dr. John Durdin is already dead or alive? If he is dead and if there is a soul after life, may his soul go to a better place in heaven, do not come be like a ghost, looking- like-ghost, posting a reply like ghost...ghost-like behavior...do make yourself disappear and do not get seem like ghost or ghost-like, disappear forever, would best be served. This is human world, do not get mixed up with human world...

In Windows Xp, it doesn't seem to have this feature. In windows XP comp I would check the power option if there is any set up to turn off the harddrive and/or monitor. If the computer continues to turn off by itself once in a while, there might be problem with motherboard or hard drive and etc...

Good luck!

Your computer might be set up to shut down at specific time...

I don't think your comp has the problem with the motherboard if it shuts down at specific time, 9:00pm every night and you don't have any other problem with it when you restart it again. I mentioned the motherboard and harddrive because it happend to my desktop, Windows XP, before. I have to replace the motherboard...

I will see to that ***@Yahoo.com that it won't get shut down at 9:00 p.m. eastern time.

At 9:00 p.m. shut down is too early. I could be a kid for some older people, but I do not go to sleep at 9:00. I sleep at most 5 hours and maximum 8 hours that is way too plenty. I got up at around 5:00 in the morning, ready for breakfast by 6:00 in the morning. That is life that I got and it is fine and dandy as it is...

What can I say it's pass 9:00 p.m. Easter Time, and it's not yet a shut down time on the computer, good thing, I guess...it means...what ever it is, it is a good thing that I am still up whether the computer is still up running or not...

I still did not get any replied about Dr. John Durdin where about he seems to be gone posting along with people like Langxang, Lao Khamhom, Lao Seri, and other folk like Thao Troy Ai Lao, and the rest. It's obvious that he is still alive somewhere. If he is still alive why did not he want to produce Laotian CD fonts so I can buy to save at my dwelling. He rather wants me, and all of us to visit the website and download it from there, to which I am objected to do so.

He said, his Postal Office Box is pretty legitimate accepted by Australia government. I said who accept Postal Office Box government anyway? He is stubborn to reply back to me but had other person to reply back to me with ONE SINGLE LINE.

He, Dr. John Durdin, did not reply back to me how did he get accepted to be a Postal Office Box as a contact for government.

I would like to hear and be real for once, maybe I add some more fun saying to my Sense of Humors.

So go ahead Dr. Durdin give me more lines to write humors...like I do not have enough on my own sir!

Sincerely,
Sulilec
