Geopolitics: Vietnam Wants Embargo Lifted Entirely; USA, Easy Does it Until You Modify Your "Correct Leadership" Approach

Vietnam says "Don't tell us how to run our correct leadership, one-party democracy, as we are experts in one-party democracy, something you don't have expertise in, since yours deals with multiple-party political structures."

America says, in turn, "Then you shouldn't be asking things from us, if we can't make suggestions on things about human rights in your society."

Vietnam responds: "Then we could return to the Soviets/Russia and red China for help."

America, "Is it red China and the Soviets/Russia are those that have cause for you to be needing sophisticated WESTERN arms in the first place, for parity reasons?"

Vietnam, "Oh, that's right. Sorry, we sometimes forget why we ask you for embargo lifting. We, the correct leadership, will sit down and come up with a better idea on request next time."

Correct leadership is nothing earth shattering; it just means the LEADERS IN CHARGE are always correct, since it is their correctness and local-smart ways that got them to the top of the one-party ruling democratic structure... and so NO BODY should criticize them, because doing so would cause the whole thing to collapse like a house of cards, since one-party democracy doesn't allow dissidents to criticize its correct leadership since it is correct and that's why it is the only one allow and criticizing could cause chaos and in a one-party, correct leadership society chaos is bad and that's why the smart, wise, and correct leaders who founded the one-party democratic system allowed only themselves and no other parties or ideas to compete...

Why?

Oh, let's just say, as China is on the ascend --- and if it plays its card right, it takes over first place as the economic powerhouse within the next 10 to 15 years: IF IT PLAYS ITS CARDS RIGHT, and there's NO GUARANTEE that it would happen automatically, because it could slid into a deep economic doldrums, if, for some reason, its growth is not sustained OR SUSTAINABLE because it industrial development is NOT what it is touting it to be --- as China is on the ascendency, Japan, growing graying and older and less productive as the decades wear on.... Japan needs a strong ally in the West to help it stop China from bullying it.

And since no single European country would do that, could do that, for Japan... America remains her only hope.

Of course, the irony in this is that in the mid 20th century, Japan was America's deadly and bitter enemy and China was one of its chief allies in Asia; actually, China was America's ONLY REAL and substantial allies in Asia. China was, being so big, that only nation that when weapons and supplies were given to, could do serious push-back against Imperial Japan.

But POLITICAL IDEOLOGY --- China and Laos and Vietnam and North Korea, the only three countries, for all intents and purposes, remaining in the world that are STILL COMMUNIST, going by this outdated, obsolete WHITE MEN INVENTION FROM THE LEATE 1800S-EARLY-1900S, Lenin and Stalin bullshit --- has led China away from its WWII allies; and defeat has, ironically, made both Germany and Japan return to being part of the more dynamic Western world...
